Black and Stone

In 2007, Bay PR was appointed by start-up company, Black and Stone, to launch its innovative new product range. The company had decided to use PR to launch its new products to market, so the program needed to be punchy and effective. 

The campaign kicked off in the summer to launch the company's smart new electric convection barbecue. Traditionally electric barbecues have been less popular than gas and to overcome this perception, Bay PR highlighted the innovation in design and style of the new barbecue. Media response was excellent with phenomenal coverage achieved across press and lifestyle magazines. 

The winter publicity campaign saw the launch of the new VioFlame ethanol heater. Again, an innovation in its class, the design, overall look and price point, together with stylish deep-etched and lifestyle shots, made an attractive package to launch to media. 

Fabulous coverage resulted, including Good Taste, Better Homes and Gardens, Burke's Backyard, the Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph, Manly Daily and The West Australian. The campaign was so successful it resulted in lead generation and sales - now, almost 10 years later, the media call Bay PR requesting information – a sure sign Black and Stone is now on the ‘media map’.
